Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is used to treat muscular dysfunction, such as stooped posture, rounded shoulders, hip, and ankle or foot irregularities which if left untreated, can produce pain in the head, neck, shoulders, and back. Communication between therapist and client is necessary during the session. Although the therapist has knowledge of how to manipulate the fascia, the client needs to relay the intensity of the sensation. Two to ten sessions may be required to treat the faulty biomechanics.
